When the Dolomites was mentioned as Unesco Natural Heritage, it was published as a competition for the new visual identity of the mountain range.

Everything had to be declined in four languages: Italian, German, English and Latin. All the identity developed by Solid derives from the observation of the existing things: the geo-morphological qualities, the natural formation of rocks and the valley- balconies -sloping-sky structures. Solid was designed a font specially for this project, the Dolomia sans, which was born as an evolution of the Future, through 4 types of cuts such as the walls of the Dolomites and the Dolomia stone, broken and jagged, using only capital letters both for titles and the logo.
